Themed date nights? Oh yeah. We went there.
Friday night we themed our weekly DATE NIGHT around this most-cherished of strange American holidays. We watched the Bill Murray classic, Groundhog Day. (Its perfectly poetic that we were watching it the day AFTER February 2nd, right?!) For dinner we had flapjacks and eggs. The flapjacks were in honor of one of my favorite lines from the movie: "Too early for flapjacks?" (No picture because we ate them so fast!!)
Half-way through the film we busted out the big guns--Groundhogs Day PUDDING treats! Yes, those are supposed to be groundhogs coming out of the ground (i.e. PUDDING). They are adorable, admit it! And more importantly--they were delicious! (Perhaps even MORE importantly--the mind reels!--there were leftovers for FHE tonight...)
Following all that we were going to plan out the most perfect day EVER--as though we had an endless supply of them like Phil? But we both agreed an early bedtime sounded even better than hypothetical talk. Besides, considering our amazing wedding day just four and a half months ago, we'd be hard pressed to come up with anything original.
Six More Weeks of Winter! EEK! :)

Lyric looked at your dessert picture and asked me, "What are those mommy? Are those pandas?" Haha. Panda pudding.
